Kairah R. Pippenger, Esq.

Kairah R. Pippenger, Esq. was born and raised in Goshen, Indiana. She attended college at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, graduating with two Bachelors of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology. Originally, Kairah went to college with the intent to pursue a career in family therapy. However, after a summer internship with a District Court Judge in Muncie, Indiana, Kairah also developed a desire to help people accused of crimes to defend their rights. During college, Kairah was also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Psi Chi and United Chapters of Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociology Honor Society.

Upon graduation from college, Kairah moved to Greensboro, North Carolina to attend law school at Elon University School of Law. During her time in law school, she continued to focus on family law and criminal defense. Kairah completed both of her law school summer internships here at Kimberly Saxton & Associates, PLLC learning the nuts of bolts of the practice of law. She also completed her residency at the Guilford County Public Defender’s Office, honing her litigation skills. Upon graduating, Kairah was recognized for completing more than 75 hours of Pro Bono work during her time at Elon. In that time she volunteered for the Innocence Project, a group that works to exonerate the wrongly convicted, as well as for Teen Court, a program that provides an alternative justice system for teenagers. Kairah also served, and continues to serve, as an advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children by volunteering with the Guardian ad Litem program.

Kairah decided to continue to pursue her interests in family law and criminal defense work by becoming an Associate Attorney at Kimberly Saxton & Associates, PLLC. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her friends and two dogs, and enjoys exploring Charlotte and trying new restaurants.
